This program will explore some of the challenges experienced by Black Adolescents through the eyes of Black Mental Health Professionals. Additionally, the experience of Black MH Professionals navigating these systems will be expanded upon in a societal, organizational, and relational level. Some of the key areas of discussion will include the examination of Institutionalized Racism, Vicarious Trauma and Toxic Stress on both Black Youth and Black Mental Health Professionals who serve black youth.
